Meet Kristen Luchsinger

Kristen Luchsinger (she/her), is one of Queer Northshore’s fiercest allies. Kristen with husband Mike and QNS member Erica Radosta built our Push-Mow float all by themselves and paid for it almost entirely out of their own pockets! Kristen, like Batman, can be found wherever injustices are happening in our community. She is a board member of the St. Tammany Parish Alliance, she campaigned for Katie Darling, she participates in loads of QNS events and is an active supporter of women’s rights and the BLM movement. When she's not saving St. Tammany from hordes of assholes she is a Massage Therapist, a profession she’s worked in for 27 years. She currently has a salon with her daughter where you can get a haircut, color, makeup, and spray tans, so stop by when you need to destress and look your best (The whole salon is queer-friendly and Kristen gives free mom hugs!). 

Friends say Kristen has a “warped” (awesome) sense or humor and would describe her as “the person you call at 3am to bail you out of jail.” She loves tacos, vodka with the occasional smoke and generally being a badass.
