2025 Pelican Art by Ashley Franklin AKA “waffl3z”

To increase LGBTQ+ visibility, community, and acceptance, Queer Northshore brought PRIDE to the Northshore on June 1, 2024. On June 7, 2025, we’re doing it again.

What is PRIDE Northshore?

PRIDE Northshore is Southeast Louisiana’s celebration of LGBTQ+ PRIDE Month (June 1 - 30), produced by St Tammany-based nonprofit, Queer Northshore. As a 501c3, our mission is to promote LGBTQ+ visibility, community and acceptance through programing and events in the Northshore region of Southeast Louisiana.

The Northshore’s PRIDE Parade - June 7

Last year, over 600 participants from the LGBTQ+ community and those who stand in support of inclusivity and diversity in Louisiana marched in our first Pride Parade. Check out the official photo album! This year, join us for PRIDE Northshore’s 2nd annual all-ages PRIDE Parade on the Mandeville Lakefront. While PRIDE has become a celebration, it has always been an act of resistance. This year, as LGBTQ+ rights face relentless attacks from those in power, our theme—“Protesting with PRIDE”—honors the courageous legacy of the Stonewall Riots of 1969, the uprising that ignited the modern LGBTQ+ rights movement. Today, we stand in defiance of the government-sponsored bigotry targeting trans and queer people across our country. We march not just for joy, but for justice. We rally not just for visibility, but for liberation. We will not be silent. Come walk with us. Stand with us. Celebrate with us as we Protest with PRIDE. 🏳️‍⚧️🔥

The PRIDE Northshore Block Party - June 7

This year the parade will end at the Mandeville Trailhead, where we will be hosting a block party that is open to the public featuring Drag Queens, DJs, Cocktails, Food Trucks, Interactive PRIDE Art installations, tables from our community partners, official PRIDE Northshore merchandise and more! Come by 5pm - 10pm!

The Rainbow Riot Dance Party - June 20

This 18+ event is a celebration of love, resistance, and queer joy—paying homage to the Stonewall Riots and the fearless activists who paved the way. Whether you're here to slay on the dance floor, cheer for the queens, or simply soak in the rainbows, Rainbow Riot is where you belong. St Tammany’s hottest one-night-only club has everything: DJs, Drag Queens, food, drinks and more. Come as you are, bring your crew, and let’s make this a night to remember! Because PRIDE is a party AND a protest.

The Northshore PRIDE Guide - All through June

PRIDE Northshore will also include dozens of events and offerings from business partners throughout the Northshore. These events will be included in our Northshore PRIDE Guide, available online and distributed at businesses. Catch LGBTQ+ musicians, Drag Queens, and other artists performing at venues across the Northshore, as well as businesses offering special products or services for PRIDE. These Patrons of Pride partners will be contributing a percentage of sales to Queer Northshore.
