2025 PRIDE Parade and Afterparty

  • Lakeshore Drive Mandeville, LA, 70448 United States (map)

2025 Pelican Art by Ashley Franklin AKA “waffl3z”

Join us for the second annual PRIDE Northshore Parade on Saturday, June 7th.  This all ages PRIDE Parade will take place on the Mandeville Lakefront with an updated route that turns up Girod Street and ends at the Mandeville Trailhead where the afterparty will run until 10pm. This parade is open to all members of the LGBTQ+ community and allies who believe in inclusivity, diversity, and equality in Louisiana.

Our 2025 PRIDE Theme: Protesting with PRIDE

While PRIDE is a celebration, it has always been an act of resistance. This year, as LGBTQ+ rights face relentless attacks from those in power, our theme—“Protesting with PRIDE”—honors the courageous legacy of the Stonewall Riots of 1969, the uprising that ignited the modern LGBTQ+ rights movement. Today, we stand in defiance of the government-sponsored bigotry targeting trans and queer people across our country. We march not just for joy, but for justice. We rally not just for visibility, but for liberation. We will not be silent. Come walk with us. Stand with us. Celebrate with us as we Protest with PRIDE. 🏳️‍⚧️🔥

NOTE: if you cannot afford the $10 donation registering you to walk in the parade, please fill out the PRIDE Northshore Financial Hardship Donation Waiver Request Form. We will do our best to ensure that everyone who wants to participate is able to.

  • If you would like to participate as a group, please use the group form instead of purchasing tickets individually. To streamline participation this year, we are requiring that all designated walking groups have a minimum of 10 participants. As with last year, walking groups must also provide a banner identifying their group in the parade. Group rates: 10-20 People: $150  |  21-40 People: $300

  • While we would prefer to let clothing choices be left up to individuals, the reality is that we have to keep the parade appropriate for all ages to meet with the community standards in Mandeville. Feel free to wear expressive, colorful clothing but keep in mind where we live. This is an all ages parade. Depictions of violence, profanity, or graphic sexuality are not permitted. All participants will be required to sign our code of conduct.

  • The afterparty will be held at the Mandeville Trailhead immediately following the parade. The afterparty is free and open to the public. Food and drinks will be available for purchase.

If you’d like to march in the PRIDE parade, click the button below to register. Registration is not required to watch the parade or to attend the afterparty.
