 PRIDE Northshore Mission and Program

PRIDE Northshore is Southeast Louisiana’s all-ages celebration of LGBTQ+ PRIDE Month (June 1 - 30), produced by St Tammany-based nonprofit, Queer Northshore. As a 501c3, our mission is to promote LGBTQ+ visibility, community and acceptance in Southeast Louisiana’s Northshore region.

  • Kick off PRIDE with a night of comedy, drag, and celebrating community excellence with comedian and host Ryan Rogers of LGBTLOL.

  • Come out for PRIDE Northshore’s 2nd annual all ages PRIDE Parade on the Mandeville Lakefront. This parade is open to all members of the LGBTQ+ community and allies who believe in inclusivity, diversity, and equality in Louisiana. PRIDE is a celebration, but it has always been an act of resistance. This year, as LGBTQ+ rights face relentless attacks from those in power, our theme—“Protesting with PRIDE”—honors the courageous legacy of the Stonewall Riots of 1969, the uprising that ignited the modern LGBTQ+ rights movement. Today, we stand in defiance of the government-sponsored bigotry targeting trans and queer people across our country. We march not just for joy, but for justice. We rally not just for visibility, but for liberation. We will not be silent. Come walk with us. Stand with us. Celebrate with us as we Protest with PRIDE. 🏳️‍⚧️🔥

  • This 18+ event is a celebration of love, resistance, and queer joy—paying homage to the Stonewall Riots and the fearless activists who paved the way. Whether you're here to slay on the dance floor, cheer for the queens, or simply soak in the rainbows, Rainbow Riot is where you belong. St Tammany’s hottest one-night-only club has everything: DJs, Drag Queens, Food Trucks, and an open bar. Come as you are, bring your crew, and let’s make this a night to remember! Because PRIDE is a party AND a protest.

  • PRIDE Northshore will also include dozens of events and offerings from business partners throughout the Northshore. These events will be included in our Northshore PRIDE Guide, available online and distributed at businesses. Catch LGBTQ+ musicians, Drag Queens, and other artists performing at venues across the Northshore, as well as businesses offering special products or services for PRIDE. These Patrons of Pride partners will be contributing a percentage of sales to Queer Northshore.

  • Last year we purchased a billboard in Covington asking the community to “Show Us Your PRIDE!” This year we’re doing it again, reminding folks that St Tammany is home to thousands of LGBTQ+ people, and to invite more LGBTQ+ folks and allies to join in and help build a stronger, more inclusive community.

Louisiana has over 200k LGBTQ+ adult residents, and thousands of them live right here on the Northshore. No other outlet in the area will allow your business to connect with thousands of LGBTQ+ individuals and their families with the same impact and reach that PRIDE Northshore will. According to Harns/Witeck-Combs, 72% of LGBTQ+ individuals prefer to buy from companies that advertise to them directly. Showing your support for PRIDE Northshore conveys that you stand with the LGBTQ+ community and tells our community that we can take pride in your business.

General Sponsorship Opportunities

  • Donations from businesses and organizations are the main source of funding for Queer Northshore, allowing us to host PRIDE Northshore and a host of other events throughout the year.  

  • 100% of proceeds will go towards PRIDE programming for the month of June including police details, EMS, decorations, permits and clean up crews for the parade, a large billboard showing the LGBTQ+ community that they’re welcome on the Northshore, and all costs associated with the Official PRIDE Party at Twin Steeples.
